Balanced Wellness offers transformational tools for health and healing, specializing in personalized yoga and wellness programs uniquely tailored to the individual.

Gianna Piccardo, RYT 500, studied yoga therapy and Ayurveda in India and brings the true Eastern approach to yoga by working in a one-on-one setting. Together, teacher and student develop a holistic program tailored to the physical or mental/emotional needs of the individual, including yoga, breathwork, meditation/visualization, diet and lifestyle recommendations.

Yoga as a personal practice can be used to assist individuals in creating health and wellness of body, mind and spirit.  Yoga therapy adapts the various means and methods of a yoga practice to the unique condition, needs and intention of the practitioner.  As such, it is effective for healthy individuals as well as those with issues such as chronic fatigue, back pain, Fibromyalgia, MS, injury, insomnia, stress, anxiety and depression.

Based in the principles of Ayurveda (a 5,000 year old system of healing from India) and combined with her background in nutrition, Gianna works with each client to develop a personal wellness program tailored to their unique needs.  One-on-one programs include an Ayurvedic consultation, diet and lifestyle recommendations, as well as the design of a personalized yoga practice that can be done at home.

The intention of Balanced Wellness is to bring ancient wisdom together with modern knowledge, creating a holistic and personalized approach to healing.  By guiding clients with tools specific to their journey, Gianna helps individuals to awaken their own healing potential and find their unique inner path to well-being and personal transformation.

Gianna brings an unparalleled background of experience to her yoga teaching abilities. Her ability to connect with clients on many levels at once combined with her deep knowledge of different movements provides a yoga lesson unlike any I’ve had before.
