About

Gianna Piccardo currently practices and offers workshops in the Pacific Northwest and throughout the West Coast. She is now available across all borders with the new Yoga Off the Mat program.
Gianna is regarded as a clear and compassionate practitioner, dedicated to guiding clients inward to access their innate healing wisdom, using the tools of Yoga Therapy, Ayurveda, & Vibrational Therapy.
Her balanced approach is based upon her studies of Yoga, Ayurveda and alternative and complementary modalities in India and the Americas. In her work with clients, Gianna tailors these tools to the unique needs of the individual, using a practical, medically-sound approach.
Gianna’s regular practice and study of yoga developed from a need to channel stress and find peace while living the busy life of a corporate career woman. In the process of transforming and re-inventing her life, Gianna began to reconnect to her own self-wisdom and to listen to an inner guidance that continues to awaken and reveal an authentic personal truth.
She emerged with the understanding of and intention to assist others in experiencing this vital opportunity that we all share – that is, to discover the hidden gifts in our most difficult personal journeys and through them, to become more fully aware, open and connected.
Registered with Yoga Alliance at the E-RYT 500 level, Gianna has completed multiple teacher training programs including studies with Sarahjoy Marsh of amrita: a sanctuary for yoga and Richard Haynes of Ayurveda Plus in Portland, OR. In India, Gianna completed the Svastha Yoga Therapy & Ayurveda training, studying with long-time Krishnamachayra student A.G. Mohan and family of Chennai. Her work is complemented by her current Ayurvedic pulse diagnosis studies with Dr. Mary Jo Cravatta of CA, and a U.S. certification program through the American Institute of Vedic Studies.
As part of her own healing journey, Gianna has practiced with gifted energy and sound healing therapists and she enjoys incorporating vibrational therapy into her sessions, creating a unique experience for each client. Her intention is to provide her clients with guidance, support and specific tools to assist them on their own unique path to self-healing.
Gianna’s current focus in her yoga work is based primarily on her studies with A.G. Mohan of Svastha Yoga and Ayurveda, in Chennai, India in the lineage of Sri Krishnamacharya. Mohanji’s work is based on his 18 years as a personal student of Krishnamacharya. His programs are taught alongside his wife Indra and their children, Nitya and Ganesh Mohan, MD.
With enduring gratitude, she honors all of the teachers on her path, including Deb Wolski, Sarahjoy Marsh, A.G. Mohan and family, Richard Haynes and Dr. Mary Jo Cravatta for the integrity they offer to the ancient wisdom of the Vedas.
