Yoga & Indian Art:

Seeing with the Heart

Take a mini-journey of seeing through the inspirations of artists, sages, and poets.  Images of sacred art juxtaposed with yogic poses will help us explore personal mental patterns of seeing.

Everywhere symbolism prompts remembrance of the wisdom of the ancient seers and yogis.  We will observe, notice, find the unfamiliar in the familiar, and discover meaning in daily icons.  Any one of these cues can be a doorway to seeing freely and clearly, an opening of the heart.  (No yoga background necessary, breathing and optional light movement while seated.
