Living in Rhythm: an intro to Ayurveda

Following a review of the basic understanding of Ayurveda and the three doshas, this class will look in depth at the rhythm and balance of Ayurveda in terms of eating, sleeping and exercising in alignment with nature. Students will learn about daily routine and Ayurvedic principles to remain in balance across the natural changes occurring throughout the day, the seasons and across the span of our lives. The essence of Ayurvedic wisdom as a practice of mindfulness in our actions, thoughts and a knowing of who we are in the world, will be emphasized. The class will complete with a Ayurvedic tea reception with time for Q&A.  Facilitated by Gianna.
