Receive and Make A Gift in Return

Since most people aren’t yet familiar with Shirodhara, I am choosing to introduce it without at set-cost, inviting the client to offer what they feel is appropriate reciprocation for their experience.

 

Why Am I Being Invited To Receive? I feel that everyone who wants to should get to experience what I believe is both a powerful and necessary therapy for these times that we live in.  My intention is to share this gift of shirodhara with as many people as possible, and for a new and relatively unheard of therapy, a set price could deter someone who might greatly benefit from a treatment, due to the cost, or alternately, it could limit someone from giving as much as they wish to in return.

 

How Do I Choose What To Give? A $25 base fee is requested to cover the cost, this is paid to the clinic.  As a donation for the service, you get to receive a gift and make a gift from a place of gratitude, instead of obligation.  The individual decides from their hearts, not their heads, what they want to give.  You get to choose an amount that feels right to you after your receive the treatment. The right amount will give you a feeling of fairness, upliftment, generosity, or clearness — the feeling you get when you have given a gift perfectly appropriate to a situation. What Does The Treatment Usually Cost? At the clinic, the general cost is $90 for a 60mn treatment ($25 fixed cost of oils, etc. and $65 for the service).  Spas offer the treatment for $120 and up.  Service donations this past year have ranged from $25-$145.
